For those of us awaiting our discs, reading these sorts of glowing reviews just makes the waiting that little more bearable:

Deep Red (Profondo Rosso) (1975) | Blu-ray Review | Movie Review | Horrorview.com

first bad review
Deep Red – UK release

there will always be one sour grape ha ha

people over on bluray forums are talking about a quick skip in the movie a few times, is that how it is meant to be or is it a error?

Hmm, I'm looking at those captures and not really seeing what the reviewer is talking about. I suppose somethings could be more apparent in motion, but yeah. Whatever. I still don't know if I'm gonna order this one or not.

But what does sour grapes have to do with that review? Does that person hold a grudge against Arrow? Or did you just say that because it wasn't a positively glowing review? If the latter, it's not sour grapes.

After reading the posts on blu-ray.com, I had a look at the disc again and did notice an encoding glitch. Like The Matrix Revolutions, it depends on what player you have. It wasn't that bad on my Sony player, but worse on my Fohen & Hirsch player.
