I’M HUNGRY!
The warm weather and the fact that I’m on a health kick means I’ve been living off salad for the past couple of weeks. This means I am perpetually peckish. It also means I’m a lightweight. One sniff of wine on this empty tummy and I’m away with it. Does that make me a cheap date?
Perhaps, but that just means my date can take me to see 13 Assassins (Artificial Eye) which is out today in UK Cinemas! For all the info, check out the official hubsite while I find a healthy snack!

Also out right now is The Twilight Zone: Season 1 (Shock Entertainment & Fremantle Media: Blu-ray & DVD)! This is an absolutely stunning edition of the original series with beautiful high definition picture, remastered sound and a wealth of special features. You can read all about it on the official blog (where there’s news of a special competition…) or chat on the official forum.
Remember as well that you can still take part in deciding on the ultimate Twilight Zone episode. You can check out the rules here but know that this is something that any TZ fan just has to take part in! If you don’t join in, you can’t complain if your favourite episode doesn’t make it and there are a lot of excellent episodes to choose from. We’re still only on Heat 1 so head on over and join in!

Elspeth Ballantyne – HMV signing!
Elspeth Ballantyne, star of Prisoner Cell Block H (to whose official UK forum Cult Labs is home), will be doing a signing of Prisoner DVDs at the Buchanan Street branch of HMV in Glasgow on Monday 9 May 2011 at 5pm. Yep, folks, that’s this coming Monday! For all the details, check out this thread and remember to make sure to arrive early! Elspeth’s special UK events in Birmingham and Glasgow sold out in only two days so this is going to be popular!
Arrow Video: July 2011 New Releases
Over the last week, Nos has announced that come July, Arrow Video will be releasing three new titles: The Kentucky Fried Movie, Slaughter High and The Funhouse! As usual, each of these releases has its own mini-forum, but Nos has kindly put up a post with links to all three sections to help you navigate. So head on over there, pick your favourite title, and get nattering!
Tenebrae and The Bird with the Crystal Plumage release date changes
Because Arrow want to make Tenebrae and The Bird with the Crystal Plumage extra spangly for you, they have had to put the release dates back a touch. It’s all about ensuring these releases are the best they can possibly be so I know you all understand. Unfortunately, the spate of Bank Holidays recently has made liaising with various companies a touch difficult and so the revised dates are subject to change. For all the latest info, check out this thread which will be updated accordingly.
Well, we’re just over a month away from Shameless’ release of New York Ripper on Blu-ray and more information is slowly starting to leak through. To keep up to date, make sure you head on over to the official mini-forum. All news will come through here, including trailers and that elusive reverse artwork!
