IT’S FRIDAY THE 13TH…
So something is bound to go horribly wrong. Last time it was F13th, I sat on someone’s chewing gum that they had kindly left on a chair. I would have rather had to battle Jason Voorhees than throw out those jeans… Never mind… To cheer up, I think I’ll go see Risen (UK cinemas) which is out today! Telling the story of Welsh boxing legend, Howard Winstone, this is a Brit flick not to be missed. But don’t just take my word for it, read all about it!

ARROW VIDEO SPECIAL!
The Arrow forum has had a bit of a makeover of late. To tell you more about it, here’s Nos!

To make things easy, there is also a list of every title which has been released or is due to be released with each title as a link to the relevant thread/section.
So visit us now and check out our brilliant new look!

THERE’S SOMETHING GOING ON AT THE LABORATORY
Well, I’m off to accumulate some lucky charms to keep me safe for the rest of the day. While I’m at it, why don’t I catch you up on what’s caught my eye this week?
SHAM031/SHAM201 – Cannibal Holocaust: The BBFC Advice & Decision
Well, the BBFC have come back with their formal decision on Cannibal Holocaust and, as per their advice, only 15 seconds of a muskrat being killed needs to be trimmed. This is a landmark decision for the BBFC and censorship in the UK. Share your thoughts on this thread.
The Twilight Zone: Official UK Forum
Did you know Cult Labs is home to the official UK Twilight Zone forum? No? Well you haven’t been reading my newsletter closely enough. Shame on you. Just kidding! But seriously, we are home to the official UK Twilight Zone forum so you should get yourself on over there! Incidentally, we also have a Twilight Zone blog. Right now you can find links to a great article from The Guardian and also an article on how to win a hand drawn picture of Rod Serling! Now is that boss or what?
OK so not the TV show I would most associate with Cult Labs members but I like it so I’ve made a thread. Right now I seem to be launching a one-woman defence of the show so if you like it and would like some intelligent conversation about everybody’s favourite musical dramedy, come on over! (Hell, if there can be threads on Waterloo Road and The Bill, there can be a thread for Glee!)
I absolutely loved Outpost so I was thrilled to hear that a sequel was on the cards. And where did I hear it first? Why, on Cult Labs, of course! If you’re excited about this v. cool sounding sequel, head on over to chat about it!
If you’re heading over to the forums, be sure to check out the forum rules and pop into the new members thread to say hello if you haven’t already. If you ever feel intimidated by the behaviour of any Cult Labs members, tell one of the mods in strictest confidence: that’s me, Reaps, Stephen, Nos and bizarre_eye.
KYLE’S COMP CORNER
