THIS WEEK @ CULT LABS: 19 OCTOBER 2012

Show Me The TV!

The Cult Labs’ forum has a brand new sparkly addition! Show Me The TV is a whole new section dedicated entirely to cult TV shows. From recent hits like The Walking Dead and True Blood to a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Action, reality, animation (both anime and otherwise), adverts, made-for-TV movies, sitcoms and anything and everything in between. If you like sitting infront of the telly-box watching your favourite cult shows, then come and sit in front of the computer-box and discuss all your favourite cult shows too! Head to the new forum and get stuck in TV Fanatics!

OUT NOW!

  • Halloween 4 and 5 – Monday saw two sequels to one of the greatest slashers of all time released onto Blu-ray. The Return and The Revenge Of Michael Myers are both out now in glorious high-def and featuring a nice helping of special features to boot. Head here to see exactly what these releases have in store! Alternatively, you could pick up the Halloween 1-5 DVD box set, also out from Anchor Bay this week! Whichever you do, grab yours before HE comes home…

  • Curse Of Frankenstein – Out this week from Lionsgate is yet another classic horror film. Hammer’s legendary Curse Of Frankenstein is out now on DVD/Blu-ray double play. This was the first Hammer horror film ever filmed in colour and audiences flocked to see the screen drip with crimson blood. 55 years on, the film is still an undeniable cult classic and a must for any horror fan! Pick up yours today. For some cool content, visit the film’s official blog.
  • We Are The Night – This movie brings a whole new definition to ‘ladies of the night’ and brings the definition of ‘vampire film’ back to how it’s supposed to be! Gory and very sexy, We Are The Night is a top notch movie full of fanged vamps that are anything by glittery and sparkly. Bad to the bone and hungry for blood (and sexytimes!).
  • Apartment 143 – Forget going to see another Paranormal Activity sequel, see something new in the same vein and prepare to be terrified! This creepy film ventures into the realms of poltergeists, demons, possessions and, most evil of all, stroppy teenagers. Intense, creepy and just plain scary. You’ll love this film! We’ve also teamed up with the UK’s leading ghost huntings to give you guys the chance to not only win the film on DVD but ALSO a pair of tickets to join a real ghost hunting trip! Talk about awesome. Head here to enter and be sure to visit http://www.psychicnights.com/ for more details.
