It’s Nearly Halloween!
There’s only a matter of days until the most terrifying night of all is upon us like a beast out of Hell. - Amsterdamned – This week marks the release of another Shameless title to add to your growing yellow cult collection. Featuring plenty of adrenaline-fueled action and a great grizzly body count, Amsterdamned is a great movie especially if you’re a fan of slashers and/or gialli. - Hammer Horror – From one of, if not, the, best British horror studio of all time comes three of their unarguable classics. Hitting DVD/Blu-ray Double Play this week were Rasputin: The Mad Monk, The Mummy’s Shroud and The Devil Rides Out. Pop on over to the fan hub, admire the lobby cards and get stuck into some Hammer mayhem.
- Tinto Brass Double Bill – Also out these week are two ultra sleazy and very naughty titles from the man behind Caligula, Tinto Brass. Available on DVD is his The Voyeur and Miranda (not the TV comedy!). If you like your cult movies on the sexy side, these slices of erotica will please your palets!

- Men Behaving Badly – There’s only a few days until one of the funniest sitcoms of all time is released in an ultimate and totally complete box set. Jam packed with goodies including a new documentary, specials, the Comic Relief episodes, bloopers and so much more this seriously is one of the best TV box sets out this year. Perfect for anyone with a sense of humour and a can of lager!
- Killer Joe – This all star thriller from director William Freidkin has been getting raving reviews! Recently described as one of the dirtiest black comedies, Killer Joe tells of a hired killer (lady’s heartthrob, Matthew McConaughey) with a contract to murder the mother of a hillbilly family. Terrific acting, superb direction, brilliant music and a classy but fun plot makes this film a must see!
- Arrow News – What a week it’s been in the Arrow forum!
