THIS WEEK @ CULT LABS: 30TH MAY 2014

Summer Is Coming…Apparently

With the pretty dreadful weather we’ve had in the UK over the past couple of days, it’s easy to forget that summer is just around the corner. So, to brighten things up, tuck into this week’s Cult Labs’ newsletter!

Shameless Announcement

What better way to brighten up the day than with some Shameless news! First off, there’s now only 3 days left until Lucio Fulci’s fully uncut Contraband comes to Shameless DVD. Packed with gore that we’ve all come to love from Fulci, it’s a must have for your Shameless collection. Now available to order directly from the official online store, support Shameless and grab your copy from here.

In other news, there’s now just a couple of weeks left until the next Shameless release hits UK shelves! Celebrating one of the most twisted directors of all time, Deodato – Cinema Of Death contains three top Ruggero films, Cannibal Holocaust, The House On The Edge Of The Park and Phantom Of Death. Keep your eye on the official Shameless forum this lunchtime when we’ll be announcing for the first time the brand new artwork, created by one of the UK’s greatest film poster artists! Who is it? You’ll just have to wait and see…

Petrolheads Unite

How many Cult Labs fans love the sound of motors revving and tires screeching? With this year’s Isle Of Man TT races well underway, be sure to grab your tickets to the one night only cinema showing of Road, a new documentary narrated by Liam Neeson about motorsports and the Dunlop Dynasty. Check out the official page for more info.

Gagarin – First In Space

Earlier this week, astronomers all over the world celebrated the birthday of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. But 20 odd years before that, a certain Yuri Gagarin blasted off and let our planet, making him the first ever person in space. Take a look at this great Buzzfeed article with info on some of mankind’s greatest space triumphs.

Heart-Warming Laughs

Take a break from your endless barrage of gory violence and treat yourself to a fun comedy! Staring Chris Pratt (Jurassic World, Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Lego Movie) and Vince Vaughn, it’s a comedy full of heart and laughs. What would you do if you found out you were the father of 533 kids? Well check out the film to find out! Perfect for fans of Dodgeball, Anchorman and other great modern comedies.

Well, until next week, take care and keep the Cult alive!
