So Long Movember

And so we reach the final day of Movember! Just think tomorrow morning, all across the world, millions of tiny cardboard doors will be frantically ripped open and their chocolaty innards feasted upon. It’s officially begun, the countdown to Chr…Christm…I can’t even bring myself to say it. Bah! Humbug. It’s a time for giving and more importantly, receiving, and boy, have we got a treat in store for you this year. Every single day on the forum we’ll be hosting a new competition counting down the days. So don’t miss out on winning some great goodies! Also, keep your eyes pealed for this year’s Secret Santa!

Coming Soon!

There are so many top films coming out in the next couple of months that you will absolutely love! So, just for you, dear reader, here’s our list of all the best releases coming out shortly…

  • Zombie Flesh Eaters – The release on every cult/horror film fan’s mouth-watering lips is, without doubt, Arrow Video’s upcoming release of Lucio Fulci’s all time classic Zombie Flesh Eaters. Stuffed with extras, it’s easy to see why it’s making us foam at the mouth with excitement. This is THE definitive release and it’s out on Monday! If you haven’t pre-ordered yours yet, be sure to do so over the weekend or grab yours first thing Monday. You’d be crazy not to!
  • The Baytown Outlaws – They rarely make films as much fun as this! Blasting guns, jaw-droppingly awesome vehicles, hotter than hell women (and men!) mixed with a thrill-ride of a plot and a generous helping of comedy makes this redneck action romp one of the most enjoyable films you will see all year. Set in the land of moonshine, film fans are really starting to anticipate this ace film’s release in late December. Available on DVD and Blu-ray it’s a cross between Mad Max. The Warriors and Smokey And The Bandit. To celebrate, this week we’re working on building the greatest collection of posters from the very best Southern American films of all time, from Killer Joe to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Legend Of Boggy Creek, The House Of 1000 Corpses, Deliverance, Blastfighter and much more! Let us know your favourites here. Head to the new Tumblr page for some very cool stuff!
  • Code Name: Geronimo – Time for some good ol’ American patriotism. This year we started the countdown to the upcoming release of the new film that tells the tale behind the hunt and death of the (then) world’s most wanted man, Bin Laden. If you liked The Hurt Locker or Green Zone, then you will adore this. Visit the official forum for all the goodies and details.
  • V/H/S – Everyone loves a good horror anthology film, especially one that’s more terrifying than The Ring and Paranormal Activity put together. Enter V/H/S! Featuring 5 tales, if this film doesn’t scare the life out of you…you’re probably dead. Check out these great sneak previews, but I warn you, you may suffer from nightmares for a very long time!
  • American Mary – Although it’s not out theatrically and on DVD/Blu-ray until early next year, we can’t hold in the excitement any longer. This is a must see! A fascinatingly unique body horror from the Soska Sisters, this film will have you squirming in your seat but glued to the screen as it delves into the twisted world of extreme body modification. Female lead, if you liked Ginger Snaps you’ll love this.
  • Don’t forget, Shameless’ The House With Laughing Windows is now out on DVD. A truly fantastic giallo that competes with the very best of Argento, Fulci and Bava, this is one atmospheric gem your DVD collection cannot live without!
