Take this scene, in which the aging porn star at the heart of the film has a discussion about the movie he’s about to start shooting with his manic director.
The unusual production pays much more than a typical porno shoot and it’s shrouded in a veil of artistic pretension and total secrecy. Who wouldn’t be curious when faced with such a strange set of circumstances? Dimissively, the director bats away his actors questions with a question… “Who cares what a porn films is about?”
