Dean Cain became an early 90s sex symbol when he played Superman in the successful Lois & Clark TV series and since then, he’s had a constant, journeyman career in TV movies, Straight-To-DVD titles and genre pictures. No shame there, some of my favourite actors dwell in the Grindhouse or low-rent action flicks. Cain has appeared in shows as diverse as CSI Miami and Smallville, but for most fans of the former small screen Kryptonian, he’s the king of the TV movie. From Gentle Ben sequels to the rather amusing Zombie yarn Dead or Deader, Dean Cain has a list of Television credits as long as your arm. To give you an idea of how busy the guy is, he’s got eight movies in the pipeline for this year, which means he’s clearly catching up with Van Damme and Seagal!
