Italian horror scores were so distinct and interesting back in their day. Goblin comes to mind.
The zombies in Fulci's films are probably the best i've ever seen too. Extremely unnerving, sinister, and revolting to look at. Scary, even.
For the record, I'll go as far as to say, that they are more effective on film, than Romero's zombies..
Fulci's zombies actually look like real, walking bags of pus and maggots, real disgusting.
