Especially in City and the director gives us plenty of close-ups of the zombies faces in all their grotesque, grimy and grisly glory.
The deadster attack in the local tavern, the female flesh-ripper who pops up at the little boy's window and the previously mentioned zombie who leaps off the bridge and lands right in front of the viewer. Many a hideous and ugly but ultimately memorable cranium crushing corpse there to look at.  |
Exactly! I agree with you. To be perfectly honest with you, I couldn't sit and eat a meal while watching a Fulci movie, thats for sure. Don't know about you though?
