This is the third time I've bought this - but this new release is easily the best. It's seems strange to say about a Giallo film but it actually makes a bit more sense now - even the dream sequences! Stanley Baker was really a fantastic actor - a while ago I saw the re-release of Accident and he was completely brilliant (and completely different) in that too - he must be one of the great English actors. Of course mostly I was checking out Florinda Bolkan - who is really great and very convincing in a really strange role. Fulci's version of London that we see in this film is also wonderfully odd and he makes great use of (as usual mostly derelict) Alexandra Palace and I really liked the attention to detail in the film - Inspector Corvin using a pack of matches from Annabel's and Joan Hammond carrying a Biba bag. I know people criticize Fulci's films for being a bit ramshackle but here someone was definitely paying attention.
