Well, the Finns had it worse than the UK and German censorship combined up untill 2001. when the "K-18" rating was introduced for home entertainment.
Prior to that no "18" rated movies were allowed to be released on video. They had to be cut down to what their idea of a "K-16" was, eliminating thousends of titles from the get go, like "Hellraiser" for instance.
All that changed with the introduction of the DVD to the mass market and nowadays Finnish movie fans have basically a censorship-free life, with the expection of some movies featuring cuts made to satisfy the censors in another EU country.

Most of the recent wave of "gornos" (the ones which managed to get a Finnish release anyway

) got a "K-18", while movies like "Scream", "Starship Troopers" or "Wanted" sail through with a "K-15".
