My first ever gig was the 1988 Monsters of Rock at Donington Park.
I was 16, when my parents found out on the tea time news that people had been crushed to death during Guns n' Roses set it was panic stations at home
, however we at the festival new nothing about it.
The gig itself was brilliant, with Iron Maidens 7th son inspired set going down in history.
For me i had just seen some of the biggest bands in the history of metal.
