One metal fan here!
My tastes lean more towards anything atmospheric, depressive/ambient/shoegaze black metal, gothic/death/funeral doom, anything with a heavy Gothic/post-punk/industrial influence and also have a liking for old school thrash metal (as well as some of the better new bands such as Evile, Gama Bomb, Toxic Holocaust, etc).
