I can actually remember that bit but, as for 'the best music to film sequence' goes, I'd have to vote for either The Pixies' Where Is My Mind? for the ending sequence in
Fight Club or Layla (Piano Exit) from
Goodfellas.
Mind you, it's hard to listen to Singin' in the Rain without thinking of
A Clockwork Orange and The Blue Danube without immediately picturing a scene from
2001: A Space Odyssey -- Kubrick really was the master of using music and ensuring his films 'owned' it.
