I watched the r1 Anchor Bay
Cat o'Nine Tails last night. It was a film i had hanging about for 6/7 years and i just never bothered to watch it.
I really didn't rate it at all, far too slow and far too long. The only decent parts to the fim were the train sequence, the short car chase and the final twenty minutes. James Franciscus was fine as the lead, but unfortunately Karl Malden's participation in the film was limited due to the fact he was playing a blind person.
As Argento's second film after the excellent Bird with the Crystal Plumage it was a great disappointment, had the running time been 85 mins rather than 112 it may have been more palatable.
