The Fighter was a little like
The Kids Are All Right as you had two actresses delivering amazing performances and there was a question of which was going to get nominated and which of the two was going to win -- I had no complaints with Melissa Leo getting the nod over Amy Adams because she was also compelling.
I also really like
Enchanted. It's a film that shouldn't really work but does and, even though the ending is somewhat predictable, Adams is terrific and the script is really smart in a knowing way.
