It will be interesting to see if this is as dark and as weird as I remember it being as a (very young) lad.

I watched loads of "Robin of Sherwood" on TV last year when I was off work with kidney stones. Some of it is pretty strange, very pagan(in a Wicca, new age way) and felt like the last gasp of all the wyrd kids shows from the 70s, "Children of the Stones", "The Owl Service" etc.
