It's a perfectly fair question and one I can't really answer as yet - it's really down to the ultimate owner of Shameless and he, like everyone in the industry, will be playing things cautiously to wait and see what happens to the DVD retail landscape in 2009 and as to who survives. To that end most companies I know aren't buying any new films at the moment.

SHAM019 and 20 will certainly be coming out - Baba Yaga is halfway through production and 20 is almost decided upon so the first collection will be completed. After that things are less clear but Shameless does have film rights reverting from other companies and other interesting possibilities in the pipeline.

As for me I've got plenty of PR work to do with other clients and I know of another label that's buying-up giallos, another label potentially setting-up in the UK and I'm currently wading through Asian sleaze to set up a new exploitation label for another client. So... there should be plenty of treats for 2009.
