I've been using this pic as the background wallpaper on my iPhone ever since you first posted it

That's good to hear. I can't wait to get cracking on Curse of the Werewolf but I've got another Ilsa (SS) to do first. I really don't want to do it but I'm a greedy basket! Is there any chance you could be persuaded to sell one of your kidneys so we could purchase a bit of the Hammer franchise? Then maybe I'd get to do some of the dam' covers. I'm sure we'd clean up!

What's this I heard about the Blu-ray image not being much better than the SD DVD image on the new edition of The Curse of Frankenstein? Can anyone shed any light?

That's what early reviews have stated, Vampix. Here's one:

Cathode Ray Tube: BRITISH CULT CLASSICS: The Curse of Frankenstein / 3-Disc Double Play Blu-Ray Review

But apparently Hammer won't respond to these reviews until later Monday - after people have bought it - and have only been a hair disrespectful of anyone having negative comments to make about it.

Going by that review for this edition of Curse, I'll be buying it for the DVDs and not the BD.

So my copy from Amazon didn't arrive today, as I was in HMV picking up Halloween 4 and 5 I saw Frankenstein on the shelf with a lovely £32 sticker on it... They're barking mad HMV, especially considering I had 2 movies in my hand that had only just been released at £7 each.

£32... good grief.

This artwork is gorgeous - you should be doing Little Shoppe of Horror covers. Fantastic stuff...
