Facebook = forum killer.
I'm thinking of giving B an infraction for trying to send us to Facebook.

Anyone else have Slaughter Of The Vampires?
(La Strage Dei Vampiri) (1962)

I have the Dark Sky dvd. This is the best version to go for.

The Dark Sky has framing errors but best pic quality.

The Retromedia disc is full frame but pic quality is less good and it is shorter...so both dvd's are of interest I guess....
The Dark Sky disc also has a featurette entitled “Dieter Eppler: Interview with the Vampire,” which is a 12-minute interview with the then 80-year-old actor.

The Retromedia dvd of Slaughter of the Vampires has a lot more heaving bosoms on display which are not visible because of the framing on the Dark Sky dvd.

It has print damage though (missing frames/footage).

Neither presentation is perfect and the framing is off on both so...I own both till a "definitive release" comes along.

Thanks for the info. I have a soft spot for Slaughter Of The Vampires since it's Super 8mm digest version.Another selected scene edition on Super 8mm from Slaughter Of The Vampires was called 'The Beast From The Cellar'. My friend used to have the whole film on 400ft reels. Those were the days !

Facebook has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages. People tend to get a skewed idea about things. Then again, maybe I'm a Facebook-phobe. Who knows?

As I've stated before Facebook is a useful networking tool to reach a wider audience. However, whilst being the deliverer of your particular message, it shouldn't be the source of the message itself... which sadly it has started to become, and as a consequence turns people off from fun forums like this.

I use Facebook to promote my band, and to find out how everyone's gym sessions went

Page got 200+ likes in two days and even a first "post from others" now,we'll see how it evolves.
This genre is so "niche" it would be impossible to build a whole forum around it.

At the moment I'm not posting much as the idea is to let fans take control of the page.
