What has happened to this so called sequel? Also,Optimum's long announced BD seems to have vanished as well!

It's a real shame that you can't find anything about the Optimum BD as it's probably my most anticipated HD release of the year.

If the same characters are used then they are all either dead or really old so it can't be a sequel like Halloween 2 for instance. If new characters are used then you just end up with the Nic Cage film, with a Christopher Lee cameo. I suppose it could be a sequel in name only which is just cashing in on the popularity of the original film and is equally pointless. |

Yeah that was another let down. There was a ripple of excitement in the audience when you see a portrait of Lee hanging up, but then it fades (in the cliched 'wobbly' style!) into a brief and pretty pointless flashback featuring him. It has no real bearing on the plot, and just seems to exist for nostalgia value . . .

Well it's only a few lines along with all the other stuff I saw at Fright Fest. I'd say it's spoiler free, though I do hint at the tone of the ending, but obviously don't say what happens. Just don't go in expecting a film anything approaching a sequel to The Wicker Man . . .

Nothing would come close anyway mate. Where did you all first discover what is arguably the most odd,yet original horror films of all time......?

On that note, I watched Don't Look Now again last night and it's a film that never ceases to impress.
