That’s exactly what it is.The German disc is the same order as the Spanish.
The US cut does start with the ‘flashback’ sequence.

I fast forwarded through out of curiosity and on this version, that flashback is 56 minutes in. Viewing this original Spanish cut should be very interesting as I've never seen it.

I just watched it, loved it loads! Those shots of the knights on horseback galloping through the ruins in mist and slow motion! Really creepy gothic imagery. I wish I had the sequels to watch.

Nah. They are all awful!

Just kidding. I really like all of them. The second is my personal fave.

I've only seen the first sequel. To be honest, I wasn't that keen on it at the time (sorry). Would be interesting to revisit though.

The second one is my favourite as well, the third is the worst but it's still enjoyable in it's own way.

Yeah Return is the best sequel, some say best in the series,The Ghost Galleon lacks in drive as it’s predominantly set on a ship, but it’s oozing with atmosphere and has a cracking ending.
Night of the Seaguls is also a worthy sequel.

As for those modern remakes, sequels, cash ins......flush them!
