Maybe its the context of the pic but that seriously doesnt look scary at all.

They remade it ? I had no idea...

The original will probably be re-released again now on DVD/Blu...

My god,that pic from the new EVIL DEAD movie looks anything but scary. Having said that
though,i'll still go see it/buy it on bluray just to see if it matches the original in any way.

Me too, I've enjoyed, and own most of the recent remakes. Like I've posted elsewhere, remaking this will hopefully bring the original trilogy to the attention of new fans meaning more fancy editions and hopefully a decent release of the above mentioned Within the Woods!

More fancy editions of the evil dead trilogy and a decent release of Within the woods,now that would be nice. Fingers crossed.

I hope they don't swap the tape recorder in the cabin for some found footage on a USB stick or something... Jesus, I hate found footage !
