The day CH passes through the BBFC uncut in the UK will be the day that they close up shop and EVERYTHING is allowed to be shown! Pointless anyone presenting this to the BBFC uncut or anyone in the UK buying a UK version when there are SO many releases available through the internet. Ebay is swamped with them. The BBFC and CH are totally incompatible and that isn't ever going to change.

Pretty much agree with you there Napalm. The Animals Act will prevent this from getting an uncut UK release for many years to come.

Someone should submit the Italian language print with subtitles and label it 'arthouse' - the BBFC are always more lenient on foreign language films.

Seriously though, this will never get an uncut release here. As Vin points out, UK law prevents it - most specifically the Cinematograph Act.

Hell will freeze over if they pass all the animal cruelty.
I dont see a problem with the rest of the movie, apart from the rape although last house on the left was passed uncut so maybe the rape wont be a problem anymore.

to be honest im suprised the BBFC hasn't past it uncut and slapped the 12A certificate on it cause everything gets that cert these days...but seriously if this ever gets passed uncut is the day i become lord and master of the UK and abolish these stoopid laws, hell half the video nasties are tame by some of the so called 'torture Porn' stuff released these days. Hostal 2 was the most depraved peice of cinematic turd ive ever seen and i believe that was passed uncut.

Some of the rape footage would definitely be waived today though the mudball scene would also be problematic for the BBFC.

Yeah it was strong stuff and on C5 tomorrow night - uncut I suspect like the unrated DVD.
