I personally don't know any names,except for Marc and James White (because of the interview posted here).

The restoration will be difficult because there's no negative or ip,only 35 mm release prints seem to have survived.

It will be interesting to see what can be done with those.

I think you've missed the point and why i found it amusing.

When the majority of companies have something remastered and restored, Arrow for example, they are always keen to stress who's done it and examples of their previous great work. It makes it sound special.

Whereas with Code Red - Its just some guy who did some stuff.

Btw seems the Nightmare negatives still exist but are in terrible shape.

"negatives was check at Duart before payment and it was not worth the fee due to smell , water damage and other problem they noticed. Jim Markovic and Joe Mongie checked it." (Bill/CR)

So that's why release prints will have to be used I guess.

I thought the dvd looked ok to me.

If substandard materials are being used for this then i really hope the finished product will be superior to the dvd or else the internet will be seething at Bill and we know how he reacts to this type of thing.

I have heard murmurs that Bill has announced this because a certain German DVD company might be putting out a release in the near future and CR want to pre-empt sales by letting people know it's in the works.........
Rumours, dreams and dust.. Who knows the truth? Not me, for sure. I just remember how long it took to get out in the first place (kudu's to CR!!) so I won't be holding my breath waiting on this.
