Salo on BR. Strange film, to say the least and leaps from being bizarre and horribly attention grabbing to a bit dull and daft all within the space of a few moments. Set design was awesome, acting very variable. It is very much a watch once film though and not really a work you'd be in a hurry to go back to! As a unique viewing experience it's highly recommended but as pure entertainment value its not much fun! BFI presentation is great. Can't see even Film on 4 putting this on TV any time soon or anybody trying for a remake.
