Snuff 102 (2007)
 

Came across this one but not got round to watching it yet.
Anybody heard of this Spanish film?
Supposedly it's meant to be like the August Underground's.
I actually didn't mind the first AU but Mordum and Penance were total crap IMO. Mordum especially went over the top for me.

Yeah, heard of it.. you seen the website? It's quite horrible.

I was left cold by the AU's.. as they have no heart, no substance. I don't see them as the new wave of horror - I think they are actually quite talentless - as anyone can do nasty/extreme, takes talent to make an entertaining, cohesive movie. Sadly their "movie" Redsin Tower was no better..

Naturally curiosity had me seek them out. Did you too think Penance was quite weak after Mordum? They may have gone widescreen - but it wasn't half as nasty.

I have a feeling this Spanish nasty will be more of the same, unless somehow there is a plot tagged on..

I'll let you know once I have watched it.
Penance bored me to tears and Mordum I'm sad to say was too extreme for my tastes.
Mordum and Salo were the only films to truly repulse me but I guess that's another thread. :D

I've only watched AU and Mordum and thought they were pretty worthless. I think the first two were primarily showcases for Toetag's make-up effects, so a job well done in that regard. But they are just hateful as movies.
