I never saw this at the cinema but I did want to watch it. So I bought it on DVD and watched it in bed on the evening. I did enjoy it for what it was but there was also a lot i didn't like. 1) The film was only 97 mins long and didn't tell enough story 2) The Vampire Lestat & Queen of The Damned books were blended into 1 film. 3) Why Nu Metal goth music? - Korn, Marilyn Manson - Lestat was a x century old vampire wouldn't he be making the music he listened to in 15 century France or wherever he was rather then what was popular when the film came out. 4). Cant spell her name but Aaleah the singer didnt suit being the Queen, the role should have gone to someone with more acting skills. Other then them I did enjoy the film. What are your thoughts on it |

2) See above. 3) In the book, Le Stat realises that rock stars live and work at night, so it's the perfect occupation for him. Hence why he chooses modern rock over medieval or whatever music. He also loves the adulation from fans that comes with being a star and allows him to hide in plain sight, as it were. It also gives him plenty of victims to choose from. 4) Aaliya (is that right?) died soon after making the film, so I'm reluctant to speak of ill of the dead. But yeah, she wasn't great, unfortunately. I also thought Stuart Townsend was seriously miscast as Le Stat.
