When Hammer meets metal

"In a thrilling collaboration that blends the worlds of horror cinema and rock and metal music, Hammer Films is proud to announce its first-ever partnership with the iconic Liquid Death Presents Download Festival. This exciting collaboration will feature Hammer Films' celebrated night frights screenings, showcasing classic fan favourites and its latest release. Additionally, to commemorate the unholy collaboration, an exclusive, limited-edition T-shirt will be available for festival attendees.

In addition to the cinematic experience, Hammer Films is teaming up with Old Sarum Tattoo, marking Old Sarum's 11th year at Download Festival. This collaboration will offer exclusive Hammer horror flash tattoo designs, created specifically for the festival. Each person who gets tattooed will receive a cobranded Hammer Films and Old Sarum
Tattoo sticker, celebrating this unique experience.

Liquid Death Presents Download Festival, known for the biggest names in rock and metal, will take place at Donington Park from 12-16 June 2024. As part of this unique partnership, Hammer Films will bring a spine-chilling cinematic experience to festival goers with screenings of its legendary cult horror films, including:

? The Mummy
? The Curse of Frankenstein
? The Quatermass Collection
? Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter

Seasoned Broadway Producer John Gore Launches British Film & TV Studio / Deadline

"...John Gore is also behind Casey Walker's Ithaqua, a horror movie set in 1800s Canada that sees the British survivors of a remote trade outpost plagued by an ancient evil that leaves its victims with an insatiable hunger for flesh. The pic stars Luke Hemsworth, Kevin Durand, Michael Pitt, Craig Lauzon and Leenah Robinson and is being made under the Hammer banner. Distribution will be handled by Kaleidoscope.

Ithaqua will introduce Hammer's first new monster in 60 years, created by the film's director and producer Casey Walker. With the screenplay written by Walker in collaboration with Peter Vicaire and Pascal Trottier, it speaks to what Gore wants to do with the Hammer brand and comes after he EP'd a Sky documentary on the iconic horror studio..."
