It's the only bad review I've seen so far, like you say, you can't please everybody.
It won't stop me from buying it, it looks like a great film IMO.

Watched THE DEAD the other day & i must say that this is one of the best zombie films i've seen in ages, kind of reminded me of Fulci's ZOMBIE to a certain extent, found this quite atmospheric aswell as gory, if only we had more zombie films like this

I watched the Blu-Ray yesterday and it was stunning on a 37" plasma. I loved it more second time around. But...one major disappointment! No commentary! WTF? Why not? Maybe it has been recorded why not somewhere in the publicity but that is one big epic fail (as the kids describe things that are rubbish and badly thought through). Anyone who has been to screenings knows how passionate the Ford brothers are about this film and rightly so. I was in a tiny, hot screening room earlier this year and was captivated at Howard Ford's introduction and short anecdotes on the problems encountered in making the movie. I remember saying to my peers, at the time, "I can't wait for the BR release. The commentary is going to be riveting". Missed opportunity.
The publicity material is full of great stuff and promise on how much more the Ford brothers could have talked about this movie.
If it does come out as a special edition I'll be all over it like Jordan on an Oxford Rugby player.

Ok, my above post is bogus! I double checked the audio and there is a commentary!:blu sh:

I'm surprised no-one gave me an online mauling for that blunder, so thanks for not doing so!

Just watched the movie and I thought it was quite good.

Is the making of featurette some kind of easter egg? I can only access the interviews and the deleted scene (totalling 8 or 9 mins rather than the 16 mins quoted on the box).

I've had a copy of this for a while now and have still yet to watch it through. Really need to rectify that situation as I liked what I had seen so far.

If you liked the haunting soundtrack to The Dead, it was quietly released in December; iTunes - Music - The Dead (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Imran Ahmad

Just voted, and looking at the results "The Dead" should walk it. Great film & beautifully shot. Not too much crappy CGI either. Loved it...... and it was my step daughters intro to the genre too.

“THE DEAD 2: INDIA” (Movie Review) | FANGORIA®

Not good according to this review, but I'll still give it a shot
