I heard that he was only going to make/direct a certain number of films and then pack it in (maye Angel-A was the last one, not sure?).

I thought Angel-A was OK, but to be totally honest I can't remember much about it, in fact I was getting it confused in my mind with that black and white animated film set in a futuristic Paris, Renaissance.

I caught the tale end of one of those animated ones (Arthur...) over Xmas, but it looked fairly tedious - that being said it was in French and my mastery of the language leaves a lot to be desired.

Maybe he'll have a second wind in a few years and go thriller mad again
