In some ways it's very smart of Universal to do this, as they are pretty much guaranteeing sales from minimal to no work on their part. It just saddens me that an important event in their history (you don't turn 100 very often!) is a big middle finger to the fans of film rather than pretty packaging ( Jaws aside!  ) |
Very true and well said, although we will be getting Schindlers List (and like you say Jaws too) at some point this year but you'd expect more from them
