I saw this new print plus the Kermode introduction at the BFI last month, and it's great. Still a pity that Warners are not allowing the full uncut version to be released. However the BFI are screening that cut, Rape of Christ scene and all, on March 19th to celebrate the DVD launch. Members of the cast and crew will be there. I already have my ticket!
