Well one thing we can never accuse the majors of is not being money-orientated.
It is still strange that a company who fully backed a region free future in HD DVD reverts back to tired old ways. I suppose the majority of their self-released titles they hold worldwide rights too but there are exceptions.
Then of course you get the truly bizarre situation where they release
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas region free then force Criterion to lock it when they license it.
