Shogun Assassin as provided by the BBFC..........

These are all intact in the 1999 Vipco release.
The cuts to
New York Ripper were to the stomach/nipple razor-slashing. The Shameless release is also cut but the edits are better.
I believe the Vipco
Bloody Apes VHS was pulled at the last minute though I dunno why (maybe someone went ape)
. The cuts were extremely heavy compared to the current uncut UK Redemption DVD. Not just to the heart surgery but the bedroom rape, eye-gouging, stabbing, park assault and all topless nudity were horrendously badly edited. The 1999 Sovereign VHS featured what was originally to have been the Vipco release print and it was totally worthless. Good job Vipco didn't release it (though their artwork for the projected video was kewl).
