Furthermore, like The Quantum of Solace, the B unit footage didn't properly marry with the rest of the film so it was clunky and jarring when it cut from one to the other. Perhaps its biggest failing is that Legacy felt very long and there were periods when my attention wandered, which hadn't happened in any of the previous three films. |
Can't say I'm terribly surprised by this, the film somewhat screamed 'cash-grab' to me from the beginning. 2012 for me hasn't been the best year for action film,
The Raid for me being the one truly great highlight. Mind you, I'm hoping
Expendables 2 is watchable.
