Why? It's a wonderful example of low budget marketing.
I find the Japanese poster/program really disappointing, such a missed opportunity for me, esp given some of their usually wonderful "busy" montage movie posters.
The VHS was better
And this version of the soundtrack LP cover is pretty nifty.
