The head is only really iconic in the the US, like the 'hand' is only iconic in the UK. Though I have also seen a Turkish poster which uses the hand artwork.
Some seem to think the hand art originated from Vipco's pre-cert but it didn't - it was originally used for the theatrical release in 1980 by Miracle films.
