Well, unless it's changed since I last checked on it (and if it has, they've been very quiet about it), they
should. When last I checked you didn't get charged custom duty unless your goods amounted to £135, nor VAT unless they amounted to £40. Even if they were mislabelled, the most they used to be able to do was stick a warning sticker on the package about correctly labelling gifts.
