The Exorcist is a great film, but to be honest, I never found it to be all that scary, not even when I saw it for the first time at age 12.
The demon is so over the top when it comes to the cursing, puking, spinning head, etc, that at times it actually turnes into a black comedy for me.
Maybe it´s more scary for religious people?
Still, I do think it´s a great classic.
