A second opinion.
Oasis of Fear is excellent, sure its not a giallo as such, its an exploitation film with hippies and almost dreamlike kinkiness, it is fairly slow moving but in this instance it helps develop both character and storyline in a languid style.
Its got a cast to kill for in Lovelock, Muti and Papas, a wonderfully trippy pop score and is basically an undiscovered gem from Umberto Lenzi. As far away from his seminal
Cannibal Ferox as you can get.
