Not a film, but I watched BLOOD C, a spin off mini series from BLOOD + itself a continuation of BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE.
Works equally as a standalone piece, so when it gets a release in the west its still worth picking up, lots of great action scenes and genuinely weird and creepy monster designs. On top of that, one of the goriest things i've seen in anime since Gantz and Elfen lied. Given the opportunity its worth watching.
