Well, the reason I love the old Grindhouse movies is partly because of their political incorrectness and it makes me laugh in a kind of 'you can't say/do that!'
Just as those films are products of their time and couldn't be made today, so are the old comedy programmes like FT and Mind Your Language. I laugh at them for the same reasons, because the dialogue has your jaw hitting the floor.
As Stephen says, just because I laugh at them doesn't make me a racist or whatever, because the humour, in most cases if you look at it in context, is directed at the bigots - we're laughing at their bigotry and narrow mindedness. That's the major difference and if the BBC can't see that, they're more stupid than I thought. Conisdering they harboured and actively encouraged paedophilia at the BBC it's laughable that they think that censoring an episode of FT is going to make everything alright again.
