I wasn't keen on it when I first saw it in 1995 or '96, but watched it again the next morning and really liked it. Since then, I've seen it many more times and consider it Tim Burton's best film with Jonny Depp's finest performance.

In my opinion, The Searchers is the best Western ever made, with Once Upon a Time in the West a close second and Sergio Leone's best film.
