The Frightened Woman 
Not quite sure what to make of that one (in a good way…I think). I’m not sure if the ending redeemed it, or was just a cheap get-off-the-hook for the incessant scenes of female degradation. That said, I didn’t feel the audience was ever meant to side with the fella – he’s clearly presented as a repulsive nutter. The second half was especially strange – feel like I need to watch it again just to get my head around the whole medieval castle segment!
Actually, just thinking back, it’s quite amazing how mad this film is! I want to watch it again now…
The Cynic, the Rat, and the Fist
Probably the sweariest EuroCrime dub I’ve come across (probably wins some kind of award for most use of the word ‘twat’)
. Good trashy fun – Saxon and Millian were both great as the rival mob bosses. Thought the Maurizio Merli hero character was a bit of a dick though, kind of like an Italian Chuck Norris…
