Wild Target (2009)
Dismissed as rubbish on here by Justin101 when i posted it on another thread along with a few other modern comedies i picked up. Personally i found Wild Target to be a charming, witty, sometimes hilarious, British hitman comedy.
Bill Nighy plays a meticulous hitman employed by Rupert Everett to knock off Emily Blunt's conwoman after she scammed him in an art deal. The cast including Martin Freeman and Harry Potter's Rupert Grint are top notch and all produce wonderfully quirky turns. The story romps along at a furious pace and the viewer warms to all the characters as the film progresses even with the knowledge that not all will make it to the end.
With standout dialogue and decent action set pieces, Wild Target was even better second time around and makes for a fun ninety minutes entertainment.
