In the first year of secondary school we read the short story "The Foghorn," by Ray Bradbury, that the film is (loosely) based on. As with most fiction turned movie the story bears little resemblance to the film. Try it as an experiment read the story, watch the film and pick up on any similarities, they may be few and far between.
