The Whip & The Body (1963, Mario Bava, VCI dvd).
A fun little tale of retribution and lust. Bava just knew what he was doing it seems, even with a miniscule budget he turns out a stunning looking film. Ok, the subject matter isn't popcorn freindly, but you can all f off and watch The Purge then
